How It Works
This latch provides a controlled, two-stage operation for optimal safety and convenience.
- To Open & Secure (Stay-Open Mode): Open the door and fully pull the blue L-handle. The plunger will retract and click into the detent groove, mechanically locking the latch in the open position. The door remains securely open, freeing both hands.
- To Close & Auto-Lock: Manually push the handle to release it from the detent groove. Once released, the high-tension internal spring instantly and forcefully drives the 10mm plunger forward, automatically engaging the strike plate and securely locking the door.
