This latch features an intuitive two-stage operation for maximum efficiency and safety.

Secure, Hands-Free Opening: To work inside an enclosure, open the door and fully pull the blue L-handle. The plunger will retract and click into the locked-open detent groove. The door will now remain securely open without needing to be held.

Instant, One-Touch Locking: When finished, a light push on the door or handle releases the plunger from the detent. The internal spring immediately drives the plunger forward, automatically engaging the strike plate and locking the door.
