How It Works (Operating Principle):​

This latch functions as a precision-adjustable clamping mechanism​ specifically engineered to securely fasten two panels together. The base plate (with 2x ∅5.2mm​ and 2x ∅8.5mm​ mounting holes) is fixed to one surface. The lever assembly, featuring a prominent D-ring and an integrated adjustment screw, engages a strike plate on the opposing surface. To adjust, simply rotate the screw to extend or retract the hook, setting the exact clamping distance within the 102.8-126.3mm​ range to accommodate panel tolerances or gasket compression. To secure, push the lever down—the spring-assisted, over-center toggle action pulls the two objects tightly together, creating a vibration-resistant seal.
