How It Works (Operating Principle)

The latch employs a simple and effective spring-loaded mechanism. The internal compression spring holds the 4mm diameter pin in the extended (locked) position.

To Unlock: Pull the L-shaped handle outward. This action compresses the spring and fully retracts the pin from the strike plate or receiving hole. Note: The door must be designed to swing open awayfrom the side where the handle is mounted.
To Lock: Simply align the door with the frame and release the handle. The spring automatically drives the pin forward to engage the strike hole, securing the door with a positive click.
